Privacy Policy

Information you may submit

The inquiry form on this site is the only way this site collects personal information directly from you. If you choose to submit it, it may include:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Whether you're interested in buying, selling, renting, commercial, or investment real estate
• Any message or details you choose to include

Submitting the form is optional. Please avoid including highly sensitive personal or financial information (such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, or similar) in the general inquiry form.

How information is used

Information submitted through the inquiry form is used to respond to your real-estate inquiry — for example, to contact you about buying, selling, renting, or investing in property in Key West & the Florida Keys. Mike Petro and authorized Mike Petro LLC/Expert Realty personnel may receive and use your submission for this purpose. We do not use it for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it.

Service providers

We use third-party service providers to help operate this site. Currently that is:

• Netlify — our hosting provider, which also processes and stores inquiry-form submissions through its built-in Netlify Forms service.

As the site evolves (for example, if analytics is added), this section will be updated to list any additional service providers before they go live.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google, to help us understand site traffic, interactions, and performance. Depending on the choice you make in the analytics consent banner or the "Cookie Preferences" control in the footer, Google Analytics may process information such as:

• Pages viewed
• Interaction events (such as clicking to call, clicking to email, or submitting the inquiry form)
• Browser and device information
• Approximate location
• Session and usage information
• Other standard analytics information

Google Analytics is used for basic traffic and conversion measurement only. We do not use Google Ads, remarketing, advertising personalization, Google Signals, or other advertising features.

Google Analytics only runs after you accept analytics in the consent banner — it is not active by default. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie Preferences" in the footer. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Cookies and similar technology

Our hosting provider may use technically necessary storage to operate and secure the site. See our Cookie Policy for a full breakdown of what's in use, including analytics, and how to manage your choice.

Security

We take reasonable, standard precautions to protect information submitted through this site, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and this policy does not constitute a claim of legal compliance with any specific privacy law or regulation.

Retention

We retain inquiry-form submissions only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and to satisfy legitimate legal or business record-keeping needs.

Your choices

You can ask questions about this policy, or request that your submitted information be deleted, by contacting mikepetrorealestate@gmail.com.

External links

The phone and email links on this site may open your device's own phone, messaging, or email application. Social media links lead to third-party platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and others) that are governed by those platforms' own privacy practices, not this one.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us using the information below and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site's practices change — for example, if analytics, a CRM, or additional services are added. The effective date above reflects the most recent update.
